Mara Hoffman

Looking at Mara Hoffman's education in fashion and design, her beautifully eccentric designs come as no surprise. The New York based designer studied at both Parsons School of Design and Central Saint Martins, before producing her first collection in 2000. Her brand originally named "Circle" has changed from its early designs (incorporating African Ostrich eggs in her first collection), with a clear focus on bold, native prints and defining structures. For me, her S/S12 collection encapsulates what summer fashion should be.
